3CX has acquired the "Elastix" brand, including the Elastix.com and Elastix.org domains
Under the recent announcement of acquisition of the brand Elastix by 3CX, Avanzada 7 communicates to its distribution channel and network of partners the following information that may be interesting for you:

ELASTIX 2.5 AND ELASTIX 4
The Elastix 2.5 and Elastix 4 versions will not evolve with new functionalities, but they will be maintained and updated by the original manufacturer of Elastix (Palosanto Solutions). Palosanto maintains the Elastix Cloud PBX, Dinomi and Elastix Business Edition products that will now be called Dinomi Cloud PBX, Dinomi Call Center and Dinomi Business Edition.

ELASTIX 5
3CX has released a new version called Elastix5, based on the 3CX engine on Linux platform (Debian). This version is free for up to 8 concurrent calls or 25 users. Installations of greater capacity, must follow the licensing scheme of 3CX. All updates, new versions and features of Elastix will be carried out on this new version.

ELASTIX CERTIFICATES
If you have an Elastix certificate, you should know that current Elastix certifications will continue to be recognized by 3CX. Just take into account that, from now on, these training and certifications of Elastix will follow the training program of 3CX.

ELASTIX HARDWARE
Elastix hardware is still commercialized and supports versions 2.5, 4 and 5 with the exception of microUCS where ARM architecture can only support the current microElastix version.

ADD-ONS
Relation to the add-ons can be continued installing from the repository of addons within the Elastix distros. In case of payment addons you have to contact the manufacturer to sell the corresponding license. If in the future the addons repository is removed from the Elastix distributions, they can be installed through an RPM (package to be installed on the Elastix distro) and from there in case of being a payment addon is contacted to the manufacturer to sell the corresponding license.

- High Availability - Versión 2.x
- Dinomi (Call Center) - Versión 2.x y 4
- Business Edition - Versión 4
