The Snom M500 is a professional dual-cell DECT base station designed for medium-sized businesses and retail environments. Supporting up to 16 handsets and 16 concurrent calls, it delivers flexibility, scalability, and mobility in communication.
One of its standout features is Shared Call Emulation (SCE), which mimics PBX-like behavior, allowing shared call access across all registered handsets. Users can monitor, accept, place on hold/retrieve, and pick up calls via 6 programmable LED function keys available on compatible handsets like the M55, M56, or the wireless DECT desk phone M58.
Powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE), the M500 also offers secure communication through TLS and SRTP, over-the-air firmware updates, and a web-based interface for intuitive setup and provisioning. Additional support for LDAP/XML directories, VLAN, and Zero-Touch Provisioning makes this device a robust solution for any office deployment.
