The Snom M400 is a professional-grade DECT base station engineered for small and mid-sized businesses seeking scalable wireless telephony. By combining two units, the M400 creates a dual-cell DECT system supporting up to 20 handsets and 20 simultaneous calls, making it ideal for growing offices and retail environments.
It features Power over Ethernet (PoE), remote management, and zero-touch provisioning, along with full compatibility with cloud-hosted PBX systems. Built on the same architecture as the M900, the M400 ensures consistent firmware and security updates, including TLS and SRTP encryption.
The device supports wideband audio (G.722), up to 300 meters outdoor range, and integrates easily with Snom handsets like the M25, M65, M70, M90, and others. Installation is flexible (desktop or wall-mount), and configuration is simple via web interface or automatic provisioning.
