Asterisk advanced is an official Asterisk course that prepare you to get DCAP certificacion that Avanzada7 gives in exclusive for Spain and Portugal.
This course designed for technicians with some theory and practical experience with Asterisk, wishing to speed up their learning process.
This course will lead them to work with production environments safely.

Previous knwoledge:

• Student must have some level in Linux OS.
• Basic knowledge in asterisk and dialplan.
• Be able to edit files with VIM or any text editor in command line or graphic interface.
• Some knowledge in telecommunications (not required but recommended).

Sometimes it may happen that your IP communications systemn is echoed, this can happen as a result of the waiting times that a VoIP system often has, unlike an analog system. As a result, your conversation may suffer an echo.

Although many devices already incorporate the echo canceller, Digium offers the Digium High Performance Echo Cancellation (HPEC) hardware. Echo cancellation hardware is also advantageous when handling large volumes of calls or high numbers of channels that would otherwise strain the CPU which would result in poor audio potential quality. ¿Whats dcap about?

Test is a 150 written questions exam about Asterisk and related techonlogy. It has a practicum exam where you are requested to configure a PBX with some defined tips that are given at exam time.

Note: If you take Asterisk Advanced Course that could not guarantee you pass dCAP exam. 

To pass dCAP examination is recommented to read "Asterisk the Future of Telephony 2 ª edición", and you would have knowledge to admin and configurate Asterisk, be able to create sample files and also have been in Advanced de Digium® Course
