GAPS (Grandstream Automatic Provisioning System)

GAPS gives enterprise IT administrators and service providers direct and secure control over device provisioning and streamlines mass deployment of Grandstream’s ...

... entire family of GXP IP Phones, GXV IP Multimedia Phones, HT50x/HT70x ATAs and GXW FXS/FXO Gateways, and Video Surveillance Cameras from a central location, whether the devices are deployed over the public Internet, behind a firewall/NAT, or within a corporate network environment.

Authorized partners (how Clients of Avanzda7) now can interact directly with the GAPS system to provision Grandstream devices they deploy and make configuration changes on a per device or batch basis, thus automating the process for efficient device  management. With zero configuration/plug-n-play capability for end users, GAPS  technology allows service providers and enterprise system administrators to securely  and remotely control, manage, and modify configuration settings of their deployed  Grandstream endpoints in an extremely efficient manner.

New GAPS Features

In addition to providing partners with secure and direct access to perform moves, adds and changes (MAC) themselves, the new GAPS platform offers these new features:

  • Individual Client Account Management. Distribution partners, for example, can create sub accounts so their resellers/customers can access their own profiles under the umbrella of the main distributor.
  • Customers can quickly make changes in the provisioning system without the intervention of third parties. Once an order is placed, all devices can be managed via GAPS.
  • Customers can search and track individual or batch device provisioning activity.
  • Full secure servers in a trusted environment to access the GAPS portal.
  • User Management – add/remove accounts with different profiles.

“Ensuring Grandstream’s IP endpoint devices are properly pre-configured for  hassle-free, plug-n-play service and thus easing product deployment for our partners out of the box is an important element within our overall service and support offering,” said David Li, CEO of Grandstream. “The availability of the new GAPS system represents our continued efforts to improve our enterprise and service provider customers’ experience in using/managing Grandstream devices throughout the life of our products.”
